Discover the story behind our PARK

Established and managed by The Nusajaya Natural Heritage Trust (TNNHT), SIREH Park is a beacon of hope and inspiration for those who share our passion for preserving our planet's natural beauty.

Opened its doors to the public in November 2017, the park was developed to become a sustainable, world-class natural heritage park that provides recreational, educational, and research opportunities for all ages and backgrounds.

SIREH Park encompasses a 343-acre park – one of the largest in the country. It plays host to thousands of guests weekly and helps promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural environment. Its controlled activities enhance eco-awareness, foster a greater love for nature and promote sustainable living through the myriad of nature-based activities it offers.

Our Natural Heritage Park aims to

01

Enhance the quality of life of the community through a well-planned, aesthetic park that caters to all ages, abilities and recreational essentials

02

Engage in the conservation of plant biodiversity

03

Promote, showcase and document plant collections to reflect past and present uses and their importance from the perspective of history, culture, science and landscape

04

Nurture interest, create awareness in understanding and appreciating the natural environment and its role in our lives through educational programmes

05

Deliver high standards of safety and comfort with various products and services for visitors’ enjoyment with minimal social and environmental impact

Inspired by the Sirih plant which climbs and grows without harming its host, it symbolises respect and harmony in our local traditional culture.

SIREH Park embodies these principles in every aspect of its design and operation. From our meticulously curated botanical collections to our engaging educational programs and sustainable practices, SIREH Park is conceptiualised to instil respect and appreciation for the environment, a place where people can connect with nature, learn from it, and be inspired to become stewards of the earth.

Our commitment extends beyond conservation efforts to encompass community engagement and empowerment. Through a variety of events, workshops, and community programmes, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and collective responsibility among our visitors and partners. By working together, we believe we can create positive change and build a brighter, greener future for generations to come.

As a non-profit organisation, we also rely on the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and passionate advocates to fulfil our mission of protecting biodiversity, promoting environmental education, and fostering a deep appreciation for nature among people of all ages and backgrounds.

Join us on this journey of discovery, conservation, and connection at SIREH Park. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that nature continues to thrive and communities flourish for years to come.
